Seattle Sight Seeing

Hello all. This is our first ever blog. So please let us know what you think. We are letting you know about our travels through the Pacific Northwest. We left Sacramento on Saturday morning June 21st arriving at our destination, you guessed it, about 1 1/2 hours later. Little nervous (Tina) in that they indicated they needed more water since they had to, gulp, switch planes earlier in the day. Nothing eventful and we landed with ease. Wow, can you say way faster than driving????

On our way from the airport we stopped at the Boeing Air Museum. Wow! Here are some photos of Jonathan as a fighter pilot, astronaut and even President. Can we say boy heaven?

We arrived at our unit in downtown Seattle at Belltown. http://www.vrbo.com/188436. We walked around and Jonathan got a haircut. No, forgot the camera!!! I am new to this whole share-your-photos thing. I will try to do a little better from later on out.

First night we walked to Anthony's on the water. I had oysters, Jonathan fish and chips and John had a Fisherman's Catch. Sorry, still no photos.

The next day we went to the Seattle Science Center. Saw a new Imax film about speed car racing, more specifically about Mario Andretti (sp?). Pretty amazing. It felt like you were in the cockpit!

Jonathan had a great time in the science center. Almost became TRex breakfast....

The next day we checked out and then went to the Seattle Aquarium and the Pike Place Market. There are some photos with Jonathan at the aquarium. Hmmm, can I ever remember the camera??? Well, I got a few shots at the aquarium. None at the market.

Then we took the ferry to Whidbey Island and arrived at our vacation house, the Barn at Langley. This used to be a barn now a house.

We walked around town and the waterfront. We had dinner at a really nice little family friendly restaurant.

Now after a 12 hour sleep!!! we are getting ready to venture out.
